Larger spare tires and over-sized wheels are heavier and require a stronger tire carrier to handle the additional load. Made from a die-cast aluminum casting with forged steel hinge brackets and hardened steel pins. A one piece tire carrier hinge system which is significantly stronger than the OEM hinges providing structural integrity for the excess weight. Whether you are on the road or Off-road the Jeep is constantly bouncing around and vibrating the tailgate hinges. Keep your spare tire secured. Reuses the factory Wheel Mount and no drilling required.
